Internship Development Workshop for High School Students
2024 Workshop Date TBA
A summer internship is a great way for students to learn more about a career and to gain meaningful experiences. This workshop will teach students how to communicate with a professor or professional for the purpose of securing a summer internship. A current Capstone senior who completed the previous workshop will be joining us to talk and answer questions about her internship and college application experiences!
Upon completion of the 3-part workshop, students will be ready to reach out to prospective internship providers and will have completed the following:
- A short list of professors or professionals working in the student’s area of interest.
- A detailed, targeted cover letter.
- A résumé.
This workshop is conducted by Dr. Shelley M. Enger and Carolyn Weirick, Capstone's founders and owners. Learn more about them by visiting their team pages at https://capstoneadvisers.com/team/
