A summer internship is a great way for students to learn more about a career and to gain meaningful experiences. This workshop will teach students how to communicate with a professor or professional for the purpose of securing a summer internship.
Upon completion of the 2-part workshop, students will be ready to reach out to prospective internship providers and will have completed the following:
- A short list of professors or professionals working in the student’s area of interest.
- A detailed, targeted cover letter.
- A résumé.
